For those that can’t wait to start their holiday, we can securely store your luggage on arrival Once freshened up, you can head off to start your adventure. Or simply opt to grab a towel and relax by our infinity pool whilst your room is prepared. Our bar and restaurant, The Sandbar, can offer you drinks and small bites to eat .

For the benefit of arriving guests our check out time is 10:00.

The Bay Seychelles has 2 day rooms which are available from 10:00 – 21:00 at an additional charge.

An ideal base for the day to relax, shower and change before heading to the airport for your flight home.

The Bay Seychelles is located approx. 45 minute scenic drive south-west of the airport (Mahe).

If you’re considering renting a car during your visit, we highly recommend that you arrange to either pick up from the airport or opt to have the hire car delivered to the hotel on a day and time to suit. This also gives you the freedom to explore the island without being tied to public transport or taxis.

Hiking shoes or sensible footwear and a small rucksack for anyone eager to explore the island’s walking trails.

Load the suitcase with swimwear, flip-flops, hats, sunglasses, a beach towel and your snorkel gear.

Don’t forget your favourite reef-friendly suntan lotion! Leave the fake tan at home and let your skin breath and soak up mother nature.

Insect repellent, just in case.

Don’t forget your camera. Whether you’re taking a guided tour, a boat ride or hiking there will be plenty of can’t miss sights.

All our apartments and rooms have international sockets but remember to bring your chargers.

Renting a car? Don’t forget your valid driver’s license for yourself and additional drivers.

We highly recommend that you check with your mobile data provider before departing for your holidays.

Roaming facilities are available from local telecommunications providers. Pre-paid mobile and internet sim-cards are also available to purchase at the airport or there are a few shops on the island.

The Seychelles Government has implemented a Tourism Environmental Sustainability Levy, which will be issued for all visitors to Seychelles, from 1 August 2023. This levy will be charged in Seychelles Rupees on a per person / per night basis, paid directly to the hotel in cash with a receipt provided.

As a small establishment, guests of The Bay Seychelles Boutique Hotel & Apartments will be levied SCR 25 per person, per night. Children under 12 and Seychellois citizens are exempt from this levy.

We offer free cancellation and no prepayment up to 31 days prior to your arrival date on all bookings.

All booking becomes non-refundable 30 days prior to the arrival date unless stated differently in the booking confirmation.

Cancellations within the non refundable period will result in 100% of the booking cost charged.

The Bay Seychelles Boutique Hotel & Apartments Pty Ltd reserves the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical or personal matters or other circumstances. It is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance covering your stay with us.

A maximum of two rooms may be booked through the website. Please ensure you provide full names for each room, otherwise the duplicate name reservation may be cancelled. Please email hello@thebay.sc for reservations of three rooms or more.

A valid credit card is required to confirm your booking. No pre-payment will be taken until the booking becomes non-refundable as per the cancellation policy.

Once the booking becomes non-refundable full payment is due and a secure payment link will be emailed to you. Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the payment link otherwise the booking may be cancelled.

Extra charges are payable upon check out, however a credit card must be presented at check-in to guarantee any additional charges you may incur during your stay.

The Bay Seychelles does not have suitable facilities to be able to accommodate babies and children under the age of 12.

For the enjoyment of all guests our apartments and rooms have a non smoking policy. A cleaning fee will apply for guests that don’t adhere to this.
