On Land
Beyond the sea and beaches, you’ll find plenty of coastal trails and mountain hikes through breath taking scenery of lush tropical forests and indigenous plants. There’re walks for all levels but remember to bring practical walking shoes especially if you wish to tackle some of the harder hikes.
Excursions or island hopping
Of course, if you’re wanting to explore Mahe like a local, there are many excursions and experiences to enjoy. Mahe is also surrounded by many other islands that can be explored within a few hours' ferry ride or quick flight (including by helicopter). Car Hire
We are approx. a 45-minute scenic drive south of the airport (Mahe). If you’re considering renting a car during your visit, we highly recommend that you arrange to either pick up from the airport or organise to have the hire car delivered to the hotel. This also gives you the freedom to explore the island without being tied to public transport or taxis.
